From Monday, December 22, 2025, over 1.5 million Ghanaians from over 150,000 households who are beneficiaries of the leap programme will receive their Livelihood Empowerment Advancement Programme (LEAP) grants for the 99th cycle.
Each eligible member will receive GHC320.00.
Households with two beneficiaries will receive 380 cedis. Households with three eligible beneficiaries will receive 440 cedis.
At a media briefing, the sector Minister, Dr Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, noted that the Ministry of Finance has allocated GHC1.1 billion to the leap programme for the coming period, the highest allocation since the programme’s inception.
She said the programme aims to expand to 400,000 households next year.
According to the sector Minister, their vision extends beyond this payment cycle.
”The timely disbursement of the grants since the beginning of the year is a direct outcome of the government’s recent agenda built on responsiveness, reliability and a clear focus on the needs of the extremely poor and vulnerable” she said.
