Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko were among winners in the Round of 64 of the 2024/25 MTN FA Cup over the weekend.

The Phobians beat Immigration FC 4-0 at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium to advance to the Round of 32.

A second-half routing, which saw goals from Martin Karikari, Mawuli Wayo(2), and Stephen Asare ensured that Hearts sailed through.

Asante Kotoko, who returned to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday, beat Future Stars FC 2-0 to make it to the next round.

Both goals were scored by Albert Amoah.

Among the Ghana Premier League teams who sailed through to the next round were Dreams FC, who beat fellow top-tier side Heart of Lions on penalties, Bechem United, Nations FC, Accra Lions, Berekum Chelsea and Nsoatreman FC.

The others were Young Apostles, Bibiani Gold Stars, Basake Holy Stars, and Medeama SC

Among the casualties are FC Samartex, Aduana FC, Legon Cities, and Vision FC.
