The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced the start date of next season.
With about four round of matches to end the 2025/26 season, the Association has already decided on the start of the next, especially as it is coming after the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The 2026/27 season will start on Friday, September 4 with matches spread to Monday, September 7.
The weekend of Friday, May 28-31, 2027 has been scheduled for the end.
Next season’s league will not see Eleven Wonders and Hohoe United, who are set to be relegated from this season’s league.
So far, Kukurantumi-based Port City FC and FC AshantiGold 04 have booked their place in the league with Debibi United and Tamale City set for a playoff.
