Theresa Ayoade, CEO of Charterhouse Ghana, has extolled some personalities for their contribution towards the idea of awarding musicians who are making it big in the country and beyond, some two and a half decades ago.

Madam Ayoade says although many people have supported Charterhouse since the inception of the idea, there are a few who are worth mentioning considering their massive contributions towards the success of the event.

In a goodwill message played at the 25th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) Saturday, June 01, 2024, she said those were the people that believed in the dream of the young creatives who birthed the idea at the time and deserve commendation for their support over the years.

“We have a very long list of people to say thank you to but we would like to pay tribute tonight to those we call our founding partners, those who believed in the dream from inception way back in year 2000 and supported a young group of passionate creatives to establish this event. Professor Mark Doodoo, former Director General of GBC, Fusena Jaba of Blessed Memory, Nii Adukwe Mofat, Nana Banyin Dadson, Moses Gyapong, Kwame Sefa Kayi, Kofi Okyere Darko, Johnson Adu, Korkor Amartefio, Pajon Dadson, Alhaji Sidiku Buari, David Donto and so many others that we will not be able to mention tonight,” Madam Ayoade lauded.

“We have traveled these 25 years on the wings of all of you who have supported our journey and crowned it with success. Tonight on behalf of my team at Chatterhouse Productions who work tirelessly to bring you this glorious event to you every year, we really want to say a big thank you to everyone who has made this journey possible and has contributed to its success,” she added.
