Captain Smart has taken on the ministers of President Akufo-Addo Tuesday morning saying about 90 per cent of them don’t think.
Talking specifically about the minister of Roads and Highways, Kwasi Amoako-Atta, Captain Smart described him as “the worst minister in the political history of Ghana.”
His comment stems from a newspaper publication saying government wants to reintroduce the cancelled road toll per a survey they conducted where many Ghanaians are calling for the toll.
But speaking on his show Tuesday, October 18, 2022, Captain Smart held the government has not conducted any survey to arrive at that conclusion but rather out of the government’s own volition.
Captain Smart says the Roads minister took that arbitrary decision to cancel the road tolls without consulting Ghanaians or carrying any survey but have now realized how unreasonable that move was.
“Amoako Attah you’re lying. There is no survey where Ghanaians are saying road tolls should come back. You rushed to close it down and said we should convert the toll booths to public urinals. Now you’ve turned around saying Ghanaians want you to bring it back. It is a lie,” he ranted.
