The Ghana Armed Forces are having in their possession some persons who were caught engaging in illegal mining, otherwise known as galamsey.
The over 200 people are all Ghanaians. According to the footage available to this portal, the culprits were complaining of hunger.
According to them, they have Ghana cards to prove their identities as Ghanaians when one soldier asked if there were any foreigners amongst them.
Some said they are from the Northern part of the country.
Where they were arrested has not been disclosed yet.
