The Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School (PRESEC), Legon have won their 7th National Science and Maths Quiz title at the Great Hall of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi.

This makes the ‘Ɔdadeɛs’ cement their dominance as the most successful school in the competition followed by Prempeh College with 5 trophies.

The Presecans wanted to “Seven a Living God” last year but were beaten by Prempeh College on same grounds to clinch their 5th trophy.

This is the third time PRESEC have contested Prempeh College in the final, with the “Amanfoɔ” winning the two previous meetings.

With a charged atmosphere at the campus of Prempeh College who were leading earlier as 2021 champions in the dying moments of the 2022 contest, anguish, eruption of silence took over as the Amanfoɔ started walking out of the conference hall following a poor showing in the last round of the competition.

PRESEC answered the first three riddles in the last round to bypass Prempeh College from their initial 40 points to 50, leaving their contenders at 41 with the Santaclausians –Adisadel College, placing third with 32 points.
