Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, a former Trade and Industry minister who is in the race to represent the New Patriotic Party in the 2024 general elections has started his campaign tour of the Upper East region.
The tour is part of his campaign to touch base with the grassroot delegates ahead of the party’s primaries to elect their flagbearer.

Part of his schedule in the region is to engage the clergy, chiefs and imams, traders at the Bolgatanga Central market as well as party delegates.
This is to make his intentions known to them to run for the high office of the land.
Hundreds of party supporters and sympathisers accompanied Mr. Kyerematen and his entourage on a walk through the principal streets of Bolgatanga.
He engaged in a partial interaction with some of the residents as they walked through the streets.
