Actor and producer, LilWin was engaged in a heated exchange with artiste manager, Mr. Logic on live television over the weekend.
The clash emanated as LilWin was speaking about the movie industry and its challenges.
The actor while lamenting the lack of government’s support and neglect of the movie industry claimed that Mr. Logic lacks knowledge of movie production but still criticizes movie producers and the industry.
“Our leaders have neglected the movie industry to the background. They provide absolutely no support at all. So, they are all watching the industry collapse. Mr. Logic over here does not know the industry, he knows nothing about the industry,” LilWin said on United Showbiz on UTV.
Mr. Logic also took offence to LilWin’s comment and replied the actor questioning his casting and movie production experience.
“What did you say? That I know nothing about the movie industry? That I lack movie knowledge? What do you know about movie production?
“When did you produce your first movie? In which year did you first cast as an actor? So, you assume you know about the industry because you’re an actor? Anyone who understands directing and casting can easily produce a movie,’” Mr. Logic fired back at LilWin.
LilWin singled out Mr. Logic because the entertainment pundit had earlier criticized his movie “A Country called Ghana” which he featured some top Nigerian actors.
The artiste manager questioned LilWin’s decision to feature Nigerian actors when there are equally very good actors in Ghana. In responding to Mr. Logic at that time, the actor joked about the comment claiming that Mr. Logic consumes marijuana-infused edibles.
Mr. Logic subsequently stated publicly that he was going to take a legal action against LilWin.
However, on the show on Saturday, May 11, Mr. Logic said for the intervention of some prominent person, LilWin would have already been served the court documents.
