Reggae Dancehall artiste of the Year, DSL is keen on grabbing the Songwriter of the Year award at the upcoming TGMA on June 1.

Although the Dancehall artiste has earned three nominations, DSL has his most interest in the Songwriter of the Year category which his song ‘Truth’ earned nomination for.

Speaking on The Afternoon Show on TV3, Wednesday, May 29, DSL said: “the songwriter of the year, I’m very keen on that one. I put in a lot of work in that one and I believe strongly that’s the best written song in that Category.”

In the songwriter of the year category, DSL faces competition from Perez Musik, Fameye, Akwaboah, Stonebwoy and Sarkodie to clinch the award.

Although he believes the category is occupied with top-notch artistes, he maintains confident of winning the Songwriter of the year award.
