England reached the final of the European Championships after coming from a goal down to beat the Netherlands 2-1 on Wednesday.
It was a masterclass winner from substitute Ollie Watkins to power the Three Lions to their second consecutive final in the Euros.
The Dutch had opened the scoring as early as the seventh minute through Xavi Simons but parity was restored by skipper Harry Kane, who scored from the spot.
The two sides had gone into the break even with a goal apiece.
After almost 45 minutes of a second half yet to produce goals, England manager Gareth Southgate threw in Chelsea’s Cole Palmer and Aston Villa’s Watkins for Phil Foden and Kane respectively.
The two substitutes justified the confidence reposed in them by their manager as they combined to get the winner.
Palmer picked out Watkins in the penalty area and the Villa striker’s powerful drive beat the Oranje and Brighton & Hove Albion goalie, Bart Verbruggen, late in the game.
The win sets up a final that will see England come face-to-face against Spain on Sunday.
La Roja saw off France by the same scoreline in the first semi-final played on Tuesday.
