The Electoral Commission (EC) has assured Ghanaians that it is going to conduct a free and fair election come December 07.

During the launch of TV3 and 3FM’s Election Command Centre at Media General’s Executive Theatre Thursday, August 29, 2024, Fred Tetteh, the Deputy Director of Research, Monitoring and Evaluation at the Commission, assured its stakeholders that it is going to get it right again.

According to Mr. Tetteh, conducting a free and fair election has been Ghana’s history and the Commission will ensure that it is protected.

“I must say that this is our history as Ghanaians and this is our history as Electoral Commission. The Electoral Commission will like to assure Ghanaians that with the grace of God and support of Ghanaians, especially our stakeholders, including Media General, as we try to cross the bridge in December 2024.

“Once again, the Commission assures that we are going to get it right. As we are doing everything possible to nurture Ghana, let us all plant Ghana to preserve the peace for ourselves and our nation and the generations to come,” he added.
