The Convention People’s Party (CPP) has officially declared Nana Frimpomaa Sarpong Kumankumah as its flag bearer after emerging winner in the party’s presidential primary.
At the end of the Wednesday, September 05, 2024 elections, the total votes cast were 1,360.
Out of that, Yaw Anokye Frimpong, the only contender to the winner, had 586 while Madam Kumankumah garnered 763 with 11 rejected ballots.
Addressing the media after her election, Nana Sarpong Kumankumah said “once one person has won and especially when it is so decisive, we only need to have unity moving forward.”
