The former president and the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has assured Ghanaians that his government will always tell them nothing but the truth when voted for as president.
According to Mr Dramani Mahama, Ghanaians have been told a lot of lies by some elements in other political parties in order to get their vote.
He emphasised that the NDC is a party that always tells the truth no matter how hard the situation is and will continue to tell the truth when they come back to power.
John Dramani Mahama, who is seeking re-election for the second consecutive time, made this known on the first day of his campaign tour of the Bono Region.
He was speaking during an engagement with some traditional leaders and community members in some constituencies he visited.
At Wenchi, he expresed concerns about the growing unemployment rate among the youth.
