In the video circulating online, the actor was spotted standing at the altar and flinging bundles of cash towards his pastor as an appreciation for helping him through tough times this year.
This occurred during a service on Sunday, October 6 at the Believers Worship Centre where the actor fellowships.
While his ‘spiritual father’ appeared to accept the act, the video has ignited a heated controversy on social media.
Many netizens have voiced their disapproval, contending that LilWin’s ostentatious show of wealth is an affront to the core values of Christianity.
Critics argued that the actor could have equally offered the money as tithe or offertory instead of creating a spectacle.
However, others perceive LilWin’s actions as a sincere expression of thanks and celebration for conquering adversity.
