One of Ghana’s finest recreational centres, Legon Botanical Gardens will be closed down on October 30. The company shared the news on X, formerly Twitter on Friday, October 11.
However, the company did not disclose the reason for the shutdown.
“We are Closing the Legon Botanical Gardens on 30th October, 2024 . We believe we have been able to put lots of smiles on countless number of faces all these years . Legon Botanical Gardens was a chapter. Follow Mulch Company Ltd,” the company tweeted.
The Gardens located at the Agbogba Junction, Atomic Haatso main road has a number of fun-filled activities including; high rope course, canoeing, canopy walkway, fishing, cycling etc. It has provided memories and countless experiences for visitors in the past.
The centre has in the past served as an outdoor play space for both adult and children who visit the Gardens for relaxation and fun.
An indication on the website of the Gardens says “we are relocating”. A click on the link takes one to a YouTube page named ‘Play Leisure Adventure Nature Travel’ with 12 subscribers and created on July 3, 2024 without a single post.
