The President of Ghana Federation of Traditional Medicine Practitioners Association (GHAFTRAM), Prof Ato Duncan has stated that traditional medicine can help boost Ghana’ s economy.

In an exclusive interview with Onua News’s Akua Sarpomaa, Prof Duncan stated that, “according to research, about 70% of Ghanaians take traditional medicine and also there are some sicknesses that orthodox medicines cannot cure, but the traditional medicine can cure. So, if we take good care of traditional medicine, the money Ghana will get will be more than the gold we are mining in this country”.

He added that “… those who do not accept the traditional medicine should consider them now, since it is the only medicine that can help you”.

“Traditional Medicine was used by our great grandmother’s and it really helped them, so believe in us because traditional medicine is good,” Prof Duncan stated.
