Legal practitioner and member of the National Executive Committee of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Victor Kutor, has expressed the party’s readiness to address the challenges facing the country following John Dramani Mahama’s victory in the 2024 presidential election.
Speaking to Berla Mundi on Ghana Decides on Sunday, December 8, 2024, Kutor acknowledged the enormity of the task ahead but emphasized the party’s confidence in Mahama’s leadership to navigate the nation through its current difficulties.
“If you look at the mess these guys have created, you will know the work we have ahead. But we are not discouraged because we have a trustworthy leader, John Dramani Mahama,” Kutor stated.
Kutor highlighted the NDC’s preparedness to tackle issues such as economic recovery, corruption, and governance reforms, which have been key areas of concern during the election campaign.
He underscored the party’s commitment to fulfilling the promises made to Ghanaians.
Kutor noted that rebuilding public trust and fixing systemic challenges left behind by the outgoing administration would require focused effort and collaboration.
John Dramani Mahama, who is President-Elect is expected to unveil his policy agenda in the coming days as the NDC prepares to assume office.
