President-elect John Dramani Mahama has described Ghanaian youth as the “most valuable” asset the nation has.
He wants the youth to believe in their capabilities and how vital they are in resetting Ghana to become the better nation everyone desires.
John Mahama says there are “endless opportunities” for every youth and has called for their participation in helping build a “thriving economy” for everyone.
In his New Year message for the nation Wednesday, January 01, 2025, the President-elect admonished the youth not to be dismayed but trust in their abilities in helping build a better Ghana.
“To the youth, you are our most valuable asset. Your energy, creativity, and passion are vital to our future success. I urge you to believe in yourselves and in the endless possibilities that lie ahead. Your participation will be crucial as we work together to cultivate a thriving economy and forge a brighter future for all,” he stated.
He also reiterated his commitment to doing his part by creating a conducive environment that will help the youth to thrive on their vision.
John Mahama promised in his message how he is determined to implement his much touted 24-hour economy policy to provide jobs for many of the youth that are unemployed.
This, he said, will make Ghana an export-driven nation for a sustainable development that will not compel the youth out of the country to make it in life.
“My administration is committed to implementing our 24-hour economy policy—expanding job opportunities and transforming Ghana into an export-driven economy. Together, we will create an environment that fosters entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable development, ensuring that our youth can achieve their dreams right here at home,” he assured.
