Sixty-two pupils of Ben Konadu Basic School are reported to have been involved in a fatal accident on the Adukrom-Somanya highway in the Eastern Regi on.
The pupils were said to be on their way to Akosombo on excursion on March 28 when the accident occurred.
They were aboard a bus with Registration Number, GV 83-22.
Details regarding the cause of the accident are yet to be known. Images available show that at least one person has died.
The Easter Regional Minister, Rita Akosua Adjei Awatey, who chanced on the accident stopped to assist in the rescue efforts.
