Tension has heightened at Aboaso, near Ntonso after youth of the town clashed with Wiamoase youth, leaving three people dead.
According to sources, the deceased are residents of Ntonso who attended a funeral at Wiamoase.
A confusion erupted between the two groups leading to a misunderstanding, the cause of which has not been established yet.
The misunderstanding degenerated into a free-for-all fight, with some Ntonso community youth brandishing pistols.
Two women were shot in the process, enraging the Wiamoase youth.
The Wiamoase youth armed themselves with machetes and attacked the rival group, leading to the killing of four people.
