The Black Satellites have been drawn in Group C to play defending champions Senegal, Central African Republic (CAR) and DR Congo at the 2025 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The draw for the tournament, to take place in Egypt, was held on Sunday, April 13.
The four-time champions will begin their campaign on Friday, May 2 against DR Congo before taking on Senegal and CAR later.
The hosts were drawn to play Zambia, Sierra Leone, South Africa and Tanzania in Group A while record champions Nigeria, Tunisia, Kenya and Morocco will play in Group B.
The winners and runners-up as well two best third-placed teams will make it to the quarter-finals.
The tournament was originally scheduled to be held in La Cote d’Ivoire but the West Africans withdrew in the last minute.
Egypt, therefore, stepped in to save the situation.
The tournament will begin from Sunday, April 27 and end on Sunday, May 18.
