Love Oyedepo Ogah, daughter of Bishop David Oyedepo, General Overseer of Living Faith, has disclosed how “hired killers” stormed their house but did not succeed in assassinating her father.
She recounted that the incident happened while she was in secondary school.
Addressing church members in a recent sermon, Ogah said the men stormed their home and declared their intent to kill Bishop Oyedepo.
According to her, the assailants conducted an extensive search of the house in pursuit of the revered preacher.
“We were visited in our house by hired killers, specifically stating from the time they entered the gate that they were here to execute him, by him I mean my father.
“Our house was like a war zone. They were like, ‘Where is he?’ ‘Where is he?’. The most interesting thing that has stuck with me from when I was a child that he was looking at them the entire time but they couldn’t see him. They ransacked our house for hours,” she narrated.
In the viral video, Love disclosed that her father was standing in front of the killer but miraculously they could not see him.
She said the assailants ransacked the house for hours in search of Bishop Oyedepo but left without finding him.
After the incident, her father calmly stepped out of his room and told the stunned family, “I was staring at them the entire time.”
According to her, the killers searched every part of the house but mysteriously failed to locate the man they came to execute.
