The Ghana Police Service has announced comprehensive security measures across the nation to ensure a safe and peaceful 2025 Easter celebration.

This was stated in a press release issued by the Public Affairs Directorate of the Police Headquarters in Accra.

According to the release, the Police Administration has deployed officers on roads and within communities throughout all regions of the country. This increased presence aims to provide security for the various Easter activities planned nationwide.

Furthermore, special security arrangements have been put in place within the Kwahu areas to cover the Paragliding Festival and other scheduled activities typically associated with the Easter season in that region.

The Police are urging the general public to be security conscious during the celebrations.

They are also calling on citizens to remain vigilant and promptly report any suspicious activities to the nearest police station.

The statement concluded with the Police Administration extending their wishes for a happy Easter to all.
