Johnnie Beresford Hughes, host of 3FM’s morning show and Johnnie’s Bite, has won the Celebrity Impact Radio Personality of the Year 2024 award at this year’s Ghana Celebrity Impact Awards.
He picked up the prestigious award at the Accra International Conference Conference where the ceremony was held on Saturday, June 7, 2025.
His competitors for the award included renowned journalists such as Doreen Andoh, Kwami Sefa Kayi, Dan Kweku Yeboah, Countryman Songo, Andy Dosty, Akwasi Aboagye, Adams Saddick and Kwame Adinkra.
The awards was a testimony of his dedicated advocacy for change and holding duty-bearers accountable.
The Ghana Celebrity Impact Awards aims to celebrate public figures using their influence to create positive change in society — a role Johnnie Hughes has embodied for decades.
