A devastating fire broke out in the bustling La Nkwatannang area of Madina within the Greater Accra Region in the evening of July 15, sending shockwaves through the community.
A two-month-old baby who was in one of the containers is reported to have died.
Eyewitnesses say the fire started from gas explosion in one of the shops and quickly spread to adjacent stores, consuming everything in its path.
They described the scene as chaotic, with people rushing to safety and others attempting to salvage their belongings.
Personnel from the Ghana Fire Service were quickly alerted
The firefighters arrived in time and battled to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading further.

Despite their efforts, the fire caused significant damage to many properties.
The affected individuals have been left to pick up the pieces and rebuild their lives.
