The Senior Presidential Advisor on Governmental Affairs, & Coordinator of the August 6 Tragedy Children Support Fund, Dr Valerie Sawyerr has disclosed that the donations have hit GHS 6,583,600.00 and US$20,000.00.
This is contained in an update issued on September 13, 2025.
“Total donations received now amount to: GHS 6,583,600.00 and US$20,000.00. Donations may be made to the Fund via the following Stanbic Bank Ghana Limited accounts (Stanbic Heights Branch, Accra):
Ghana Cedi (GHS) Account: 9040013628372
US Dollar (USD) Account: 9040013628534,” she wrote.
“Cheques and bank drafts should be made payable to: CHILDREN SUPPORT FUND 6825. MOMO payments can also be made via the attached payment platforms, “Dr Sawyerr added.
Below is a list of donors from 1 September to 11 September 2025, in response to the Children’s Support Fund, to ensure the welfare of the children of the victims of the August 6 helicopter crash.
