Former national 100m record holder Benjamin Azamati-Kwaku has missed out on a place in the semi-finals of the ongoing World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.
The Ghanaian sprinter clocked 10.30s in Heat 5 of men’s 100m to finish 6th.
He was in the same heat with 200m Olympic Champion Letsile Tebogo and former 200m World Champion Andre de Grasse.
The two finished in first and second place with the Motswana clocking 10.07s and the Canadian finishing in 10.16s.
