The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the official release of the 2025 Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) results.

In a statement signed by Dr. Munawaru Issahaque, Acting Deputy Director-General (Quality & Access), on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, Regional Directors of Education were directed to notify District Directors and Heads of schools about the release.

The release emphasised that student admissions must strictly adhere to the CSSPS Secretariat’s generated results.

According to the statement, Heads of schools must submit written approval to the GES before admitting students outside the official placement. Additionally, all successfully placed students are required to report to school on October 18, 2025.

Heads of schools have been directed to ensure smooth registration in accordance with the provided guidelines. The GES has also warned that any infractions, including unauthorised admissions, will face administrative sanctions.

Regional and District Directors have been tasked with providing supervisory support to enforce compliance.

The statement emphasised that the cooperation of all stakeholders is critical to guarantee a transparent and successful admission process for the 2025 academic year.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Minister of Education Dr. Clement Abass Apaak, has assured parents and guardians that the government has implemented measures to address all placement challenges amicably.

He has also warned against paying unscrupulous individuals who promise to alter placements for their wards, emphasising that the student placement is free.

This assurance follows CSSPS-related challenges faced by students and guardians over the years.
