Some gunmen wearing masks reportedly stormed Sampa, a community in the Bono Region Sunday afternoon, opening fire in parts of the town during a violent clash between two rival groups.
During the encounter, a policeman was hit and reportedly died on the Sunday, October 5, 2025. Some other persons sustained injuries in the course of the violence.
A medical personnel sent an audio on Sunday to health personnel who were close to the hospital to move in to help in handling the casualty cases.
The security officers, during the incident, called for reinforcement.
A medical officer in an audio shared on Whatsapp said a mass casualty had been recorded and called on health workers who were on standby to move to the hospital to assist.
