Kennedy Agyapong has secured the Number 1 spot on the ballot paper for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer race.
Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia picked the Number 3 position on the ballot paper after the NPP conducted balloting for positions on Friday, October 10.
The exercise, held on the same day, saw the former Assin Central Member of Parliament draw the first spot.
The order of balloting is as follows:

The NPP will be holding its flagbearer elections on 31st January 2026 as part of its preparations for the 2028 general elections.
The flagbearer aspirants have already started touring the entire country, meeting delegates to campaign.
