The Member of Parliament for Wa Central, Dr Hassan Rashid Pelpuo, has come to the rescue of 16-year-old Osman Fauzan, a promising student from Guli in the Wa Municipality of the Upper West Region who was on the verge of dropping out of school due to financial constraints.

Osman Fauzan is an orphan who gained admission to Wa Technical Institute this year, was faced with the daunting reality of pursuing his education without financial support. However, thanks to Dr Pelpuo’s timely intervention, Osman’s educational dreams have been revived.

Dr Hassan Pelpuo, who is also the Minister for Labour, Employment, and Jobs, is said to have been moved by Osman’s story and swiftly offered to provide full financial support to enable him to pursue his education.

“No child should be denied the opportunity to learn and build a better future simply because of poverty or the absence of parents,” the MP stated.

The gesture has brought joy and relief to Osman and his guardians.

Speaking shortly after the offer of full educational support was announced by the MP, through his aide, the family of Osman Fauzan expressed profound gratitude to Dr Pelpuo for his kindness and fatherly concern.

Osman’s story serves as a reminder that leadership is not just about policy and politics but about touching lives and restoring hope to the vulnerable.

With Dr Pelpuo’s support, Osman can now focus on his studies and pursue his dreams.
