The Member of Parliament for Juaben in Ashanti Region, Francis Owusu-Akyaw, has assured residents of his commitment to extending the National Electricity Grid to more communities in the area.

He said the initiative is vital for improving healthcare delivery and supporting local businesses.

In a statement on his Facebook page after visiting some communities, Owusu-Akyaw said most parts of Juaben constituency are still without electricity,”

“I’ve received numerous concerns from constituents urging me to do more. I’ve already taken steps, and I want to see more areas connected to the national grid- not just for domestic use but also to power businesses and economic ventures,” he wrote on October 17.

“I paid a working visit to Yeboakrom and Amangoase in the Duampompo Boamadumase Electoral Area as part of efforts to connect these two communities to the National Electricity Grid.

This important project will soon bring reliable electricity supply to the area, opening new opportunities for education, business, and improved living standards for residents,” The law maker stated.

“I remain committed to ensuring that every corner of the Juaben Constituency enjoys the full benefits of development. Together, we are lighting up our communities and building a brighter future for all,” he added.
