The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has today, October 29 conducted searches at the Trassaco residence of the Chief Executive Officer of Goldridge Company Limited, Nana Yaw Duodu, also known as Dr. Sledge.

Officials from the OSP also conducted a search at the East Legon offices of the company.

The searches were conducted as part of ongoing investigations into suspected corruption and corruption-related offences linked to the Minerals Income Investment Fund (MIIF) gold trade programme.

The OSP’s asset recovery and management team seized several items, including luxury vehicles, jewellery, weapons, and documents relating to landed properties.

According to a post on the OSP’s X account, Wednesday, October 29, the searches were carried out under warrants issued by the High Court in Accra.

Nana Yaw Duodu is under investigation for suspected corruption and corruption-related offences linked to the Minerals Income Investment Fund (MIIF) gold trade programme, which allegedly caused a loss of US$94 million to the State.

Dr. Sledge Nana Yaw Duodu was arrested by the OSP for questioning in September 2025. He was detained after he failed to meet bail conditions but was later released on bail.
