The Ministry of Roads and Highways, through the Department of Urban Roads, has announced temporary traffic arrangements on Obuasi road.

This will be specifically near the Opoku Ware Senior High School (SHS), to facilitate the launching of a pedestrian footbridge on November 1, and 2, 2025 between 10:00pm – 3:00am.

In place for crane positioning and bow bridge lifting motorists and road users are advised to observe traffic management signs.

Police, MTTD will be stationed at vantage points to assist and guide motorists.

The pedestrian footbridge is part of a road safety improvement project by turn-key construction on hazardous locations.

The Ministry apologizes for any inconvenience caused and appreciates the public’s understanding as they work to complete this important project.
