State burial for the late Former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings was held on Friday, November 28, 2025 at the Black Star Square.

Many dignitaries were present at the state funeral to pay their final respect.

President John Dramani Mahama, Vice President Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, Former President Akufo-Addo, Ex-Liberian President, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Chief Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie, Former President John Agyekum Kufuor, other present and past state officials were all in attendance to mourn the late former First Lady.

After the state ceremony, the late former First Lady was laid to rest at a military cemetery in Accra.

Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings was buried next to the former UN Secretary General, Kofi Annan at the National Memorial Section of the Military Cemetery with her casket draped with national flag.
The longest-serving First Lady died on October 23, 2025 after a short illness.
