Two adult males have died following a violent clash over family land at Dondoli, a suburb of Wa in the Upper West Region.
One of the victims died at the scene, while the other was pronounced dead shortly after being rushed to hospital.
The Upper West Regional Police Commander, DCOP Francis Yiribaare, who confirmed the incident to 3news.com, said the bloody clash on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, also led to the arrest of two people, with one admitted to hospital under police supervision.

DCOP Yiribaare described the incident as very unfortunate and called on the public to always resort to the law in resolving issues rather than using violence.

He assured the public that the police are leaving no stone unturned in determining the cause of the clash.
Meanwhile, calm has since returned to the community, though with police visibility.
At the time of filing this report, 2 people had been detained by the Regional Police, while investigations were still ongoing.
