Social media sensation and popular self-acclaimed prophet, Evans Eshun, also known as Ebo Noah has been remanded by the Adenta Circuit Court for two weeks after he was arraigned on charge of publication of false news with intent to cause fear and panic.

Per the brief facts of the case Ebo Noah, a private security guard in Accra admitted in his investigation caution statement, that he circulated the said videos on his Facebook, TikTok and YouTube accounts.

The prosecution further alleged that, Ebo Noah stated that the boat he referred to as an ark in the videos did not belong to him but was owned by a fisherman at a boat yard in Elmina in the Central Region.

“The suspect further admitted that his claims were false and acknowledged that there was no impending flood intended to destroy the world, but all are his own fabrications.”

The case has since been adjourned to January 15.
