The Police have seized 527 parcels of suspected Indian hemp, popularly called “Volta Cocaine,” from a Hyundai cargo truck.
According to information available to 3news, the drugs were cleverly hidden under cyber boards, diapers, and detergents.
Sources say Police officers who arrested the suspects refused a GH¢120,000 bribe.
“The drugs are worth about GH¢210,800. Lawrence Osai (aka Mandela) and Emmanuel Bullah are in police custody and helping with investigations,” the source said on February 2.
