The Executive Director of Global InfoAnalytics, Mussa Dankwah, has called for the intervention of the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) in the alleged vote-buying incident during the Ayawaso East Primary.
The influential pollster stated in a Facebook post following the polls on Saturday, February 7, 2026, stated that the President must refer the matter to the OSP if it is serious about the reset Agenda.
“The president must refer what happened in the Ayawaso East to the OSP if we are to take the reset agenda serious,” he wrote.

Mussa Danwah had earlier criticised the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the alleged vote-buying in the primary to elect a candidate for the Ayawaso East by-election.
He said it is a shame for a social democratic party to behave this way.
Mussa Dankwah on Facebook said, “In a bid to destroy data science, I hear things are happening. What a shame for a social democratic party, but the people will vote their conscience.”
Delegates were allegedly given 32-inch television sets from Baba Jamal’s campaign team as voting continued, an allegation that the Ghana’s High Commissioner to Nigeria has dismissed.
“I am very hopeful of victory,” he told journalists.
When his attention was drawn to the polls by Mussa Dankwah, he said, “Forget about that polls. The credibility of Mussa Dankwah will be determined by this election.”
Meanwhile, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has constituted a three-member committee to investigate allegations of inducement and vote buying during its recent parliamentary primaries in the Ayawaso East Constituency.
In a statement issued by the party’s National Secretariat on Saturday, February 7, 2026, the NDC confirmed that the decision follows earlier concerns raised over reported widespread inducement during the primaries held on Saturday.
The committee will be chaired by Mr. Kofi Totobi Quakyi, with Hon. Mahama Ayariga and lawyer Emefa Fuga serving as members.
According to the statement signed by the NDC General Secretary, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, the committee has been tasked to thoroughly investigate the allegations and submit its report by Tuesday, February 10, 2026.
