Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, has been released from the Nsawam Prisons after serving one year in custody.

The former fetish priestess-turned-evangelist’s return was confirmed by her husband, Asiamah, who posted on his Facebook page on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, that: “Thank God my wife is finally home.”

She has since reunited with the husband and family, and is expected to celebrate her return with her church members later in the day to mark her first public appearance since her release from incarceration.

Agradaa was convicted of defrauding by false pretence and charlatanic advertisement and sentenced to 15 years imprisonment on July 3, 2025. The duration for her sentence was slashed by a whooping 14 years after her legal team challenged the ruling, arguing that the sentence was excessive.

The Amasaman High Court, after reviewing the sentence, reduced the term to 12 calendar months, where it described the initial ruling as harsh.

According to Ghana’s standard remission rules, Agradaa was due for release after serving two-thirds of the revised sentence.
