Minister for Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has announced plans to commission celebrated Ghanaian artists to showcase their works at the country’s embassies and high commissions across the world.

The Minister made the disclosure following a courtesy visit by renowned visual artist and architect Sharon Dede Padi, who recently achieved a Guinness World Record for the largest leaf print painting.

According to the Minister, the initiative forms part of efforts to project Ghana’s rich cultural heritage and creative excellence on the global stage through art and visual storytelling.

“We are going to commission our celebrated Ghanaian artists to showcase their extraordinary talent at our embassies and high commissions across the world,” Mr. Ablakwa stated.

The move is expected to strengthen cultural diplomacy by transforming Ghana’s diplomatic missions into vibrant spaces that reflect the nation’s artistic identity and creative ingenuity.

The announcement highlights the Ministry’s resolve to elevate Ghanaian talent on the global stage and position the country as a hub for creativity and innovation.
