The President of Zimbabwe, H.E. Emmerson Mnangagwa has arrived in Ghana for a three-day State Visit.
According to Presidential Correspondent, Komla Klutse, the visit will be used to deepen bilateral ties between the two countries.
He was received at the Accra International Airport by President John Mahama, the Chief of Staff Julius Debrah and other senior government officials.
Mr Mnangagwa succeeded the famous Robert Mugabe.
The visit will focus on strengthening cooperation in areas such as trade, tourism, agriculture, healthcare, sanitation and efforts to address corruption and unemployment.
President Mnangagwa is also expected to tour the Sweden-Ghana Medical Center and the Accra Compost and Recycling Plant.
He will also visit the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park to pay homage to Ghana’s first head of state, Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah.
