President John Dramani Mahama has reshuffled two Ministers in his government and nominated other two persons to fill in the vacant ministerial positions.
Dr Zanetor Agyemang-Rawlings has been nominated as Minister designate of Environment, Science and Technology while Mahama Ayariga has been nominated as Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs.
Two other ministers Kenneth Gilbert Adjei and Ahmed Ibrahim has been reassigned as Minister for Defense and Minster for Works, Housing and Water Resources respectively.

This is the first ministerial reassignment in President Mahama’s second term since assuming office on January 7, 2025.
