The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, has announced a motor package for winners of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League aside the prize money of GH¢3 million.
The winners would also receive GH¢1 million as their entitlement for preparations for the season.
Addressing the 32nd Ordinary Session of Congress of GFA on Thursday, August 20, Mr Okraku said the winners will drive away with a brand new JAC vehicle valued at $33,000.
“So, you are getting GH¢1 million for your season,” he said. “If you become the champion, you will take home GH¢3 million plus a brand new JAC vehicle valued at $33,000.”
He added that the Women’s Premier League champions will also receive a brand new JAC vehcile valued at $29,000.
There is also a $5,000 prize money each for the Best Player and Best Coach in both the GPL and WPL while the best local player in the Black Stars will receive a vehicle as a prize.
