Karela United FC has announced that FIFA has lifted the transfer ban imposed on the club, following constructive engagement with all relevant parties, including the former player at the centre of the dispute.
In a statement signed by Management, the club confirmed that the ban has been officially lifted, bringing an end to a saga that had threatened to disrupt the club’s transfer activities.
“Karela United FC is pleased to announce the lifting of the ban imposed by FIFA on 18 August, 2026. This follows constructive engagement with all the relevant parties, including the former player concerned,” the statement read.
The club expressed appreciation to everyone involved in resolving the matter, describing itself as pleased that the issue had been brought to a conclusion.
Karela United also thanked its supporters, partners, and stakeholders for their patience and continued support throughout the period of the ban, and said its full focus now returns to preparations for the new season.
“We remain committed to building a competitive team that will make our supporters proud,” the statement added.
