The Member of Parliament for Asokwa, Madam Patricia Appiagyei, has embarked on a working visit to key security agencies within her constituency as part of her parliamentary oversight responsibilities.
The tour, on Thursday, August 20,2026, was aimed at strengthening collaboration with security agencies, discussing critical security issues, exploring job opportunities for the people, and receiving first hand updates on operational problems facing the institutions.
Madam Patricia Appiagyei toured key institutions across the constituency as part of efforts to engage with officials, understand their challenges, and explore opportunities to support their work.
Madam Appiagyei bagan her visit at Dompoase Police Station: Construction works are approximately 90% complete, marking significant progress on the project.
At the Ashanti Regional Fire Service, Madam Patricia Appiagyei pledged support towards the establishment of a new district office and the Fire Service’s regimental band.
Asokwa Police Station: Discussions focused on measures to strengthen security and improve policing within the constituency.
She stressed on the importance of professionalism and urged officers to adopt a more humane approach in the discharge of their duties.
She assured the Police Command of her commitment to supporting their work and addressing their logistical needs to ensure safety and security across the constituency.
The Deputy Minority Leader also reiterated her dedication to working closely with all security agencies to maintain peace, law, and order in Asokwa.
Electoral Commission: She encouraged the Commission to continue its efforts towards ensuring free, fair and credible elections.
Through these engagements, Madam Appiagyei continues to listen, engage and work collaboratively with key institutions to identify their needs and provide meaningful support that contributes to improved services for the people of Asokwa.
