Ghana’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Sabah Zita Benson, has rescued ace musician Barosky from his homeless state.
B arosky, whose music once gave vim to the feet of music lovers on the dance floor, was recently reported to have become homeless in the UK, allegedly due to drug abuse.
In a video that went viral, the musician was shown dwelling in a secluded place beside what seemed to be a highway in Manchester. His slippers, mattress and other belongings were seen strewn around his unkempt place of sojourn.
The blogger who discovered the then state of Barosky called for help from all quarters. And help came. In no time.
Ghana’s High Commissioner has paid Barosky a visit and taken him out of that state of squalor.
A post on the High Commission’s Facebook page on August 29 reads, “Her Excellency Mrs Sabah Zita Benson, Ghana’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, visited Manchester to meet Barosky, a popular Ghanaian musician currently facing difficult circumstances.
The visit was aimed at understanding his situation and exploring practical ways to support him as he works towards rebuilding his life and getting back on his feet.
