Senyo Kwasi Hosi, a businessman and policy analyst, has asked the Member of Parliament for Nsawam Adoagyiri, Frank Annoh-Dompreh, to concede defeat and stop creating confusion in the country.
He says the outcome of the polls is obvious with documents –pink sheets –to back them, the reason he can’t comprehend why the lawmaker is refusing to accept defeat.
His comment comes on the back of the ongoing confusion that has rocked Annoh-Dompreh’s constituency as well as a few others, results of which have been submitted to Accra for collation.
Speaking on the extended coverage of Ghana Decides 2024 on TV3 Friday, December 13, 2024, Mr. Hosi stated that Ghanaians already know the losers and victors of the election and those trying to cause mayhem for losing, especially the NPP, should advise themselves.
“Everybody knows who has won and who has lost. Because everyone of them has a copy of the pink sheets. Everybody has access to excel. All of them also had access to alternate software. If they are honourable people, everybody has it so they know who has lost and who has won.
“So, why are you going round the bush and just trying to create chaos simply because you want to recover and deprive the NDC of the two-third majority,” he stated, telling those who have lost to stop creating chaos.
“Stop creating chaos, be honourable. You know you have lost; I was on set the last time, I told the NDC who were also misbehaving in Damongo, you’ve lost. You have the pink sheet, the numbers show, you’re out. Annoh-Dompreh if you’ve lost you’ve lost. You have the pink sheet, you have the number, declaration has been made, move on.
He further advised those still wrestling over the seats in the disputed constituencies not to subvert the will of the people and head to the law courts if they have issues.
“Nobody should subvert the will of the people. Please let’s have peace. We have the law. After collation and declaration, if you have any problems with it, you go to court so go to court and stop creating chaos,” he added.
