Minority Whip in Parliament, Comfort Doyoe Cudjoe-Ghansah, has said she can better rule Ghana than President Akufo-Addo and his entire cabinet considering the current economic conditions.
The Ada Member of Parliament says she will apply commonsense and wisdom to set things in their right places unlike the current administration whose governance has been bookish without results.
The lawmaker has been saying on Onua TV’s morning show, Maakye, Monday, April 29, 2024 that although the ruling party has messed up the economy, the NDC has what it takes to fix things since leadership goes beyond making references in books.
“We have the human resource to do it. I Doyoe can even manage the country better than the entire cabinet. Before they refer from the book I will be gone. They say Social Science studies human behaviour so they will be referring from their books to check how a pertaining behaviour is stated in the economics books and I’ll be gone. I won’t reference from books.
“If the price of beans in the bush is GHC600 and it is being sold for GHC1,200 here, then you should know the increment in other things has resulted to the confusion so if you’re not able to able to detect that the transportation and poor road network to the farms are the cause of the price hikes,…that’s not book knowledge but wisdom,” she said in Twi.
